DAY SIXTEEN: What Happens When Good Batteries Go Bad

DAY SIXTEEN: what happens when good batteries go bad

Not the best way to start the second half of January, I admit.
I had planned to take photos of Logan Square Park on the way home from work tonight with its nice sky at dusk. Unfortunately, I got out of work late and I lost the light.
Undaunted, I began to shoot in the park anyhow. And that was when the little red light went on. I was able to take a grand total of three photos before the bane of everyone's existance, "battery exhausted" showed up on the camera.
Too tired to run to the Walgreen's (which would probably make a better subject than this), I'm just posting this one. The closest place to work to buy new batteries is Union Station so maybe some good will come out of this disaster.
NOTE: January 16, 2007 post to Photo 365, Project 365!, and Project 365
