It's been quite some time since I read the "Illuminatus Trilogy" With the recent death of Robert Anton Wilson, however, I decided to pick up another of his books.

I hadn't planned on reading his other trilogy since I'm trying to read 25 books this year (or maybe I should just try to read 23) but all Borders had when I went there on Sunday was "Shrodinger's Cat." So I set off to read it today. I hadn't intentionally done this but it just works.

For those who know the Illuminati mythology, number 23 is the most powerful number in the world. Wilson actually goes over a couple of pages on how 23 has been important throughout history in the trilogy.

And this mythology is about to be important again as there's a Jim Carrey drama coming out on the subject later this year.

But that's in the future and this is only the 23rd day of the year. Hope it was meaningful for everybody.
